I love chandeliers, I spent most of my childhood living in Europe visiting churches and castles, the nobles and the clergy always have the best <a href=\"http:\/\/m.en.chateauversailles.fr\/resources\/7CF96609-9BF3-2C4C-C7A6-FAE668600AB9\/DB7E9958-944F-D99B-C472-31E0286602D0File.jpg\">chandeliers<\/a>!<br \/>\nSo here it is:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/alteredizzy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/20130616-113032.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alteredizzy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/20130616-113032.jpg\" alt=\"20130616-113032.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI really like the black and chartreuse glitter combo. This colour pallet reminds me of those <a href=\"http:\/\/sweetpickles.com\/books\/zip-goes-zebra\/\">old school hard cover book<\/a>s they had in the seventies.<br \/>\nI also tried a new base coat product on this one the Quo by Orly strong bond rubberized base coat. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/alteredizzy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/20130616-120743.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alteredizzy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/20130616-120743.jpg\" alt=\"20130616-120743.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIt goes on clear with a dull finish, dries quickly, that is always a plus in my book, and my first coat of polish went on really well. This last point is <strong>really<\/strong> important, some base coats tend to leave bald spots when applying the first coat of polish, the strong bond did not. Bam! This may just become my new favourite base coat. *<em>update: I wore these for three days and they withstood two evenings in the hot tub before they started chipping. This is a great product in my book! I will definitely be using it again.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For this look I used:<br \/>\nQuo by Orly strong bond rubberized base coat<br \/>\nEssence LOL, off to Miami!<br \/>\nNicole by OPI brilliant idea<br \/>\nRimmel black satin<br \/>\nSally Hansen Xtreme Wear celeb city<br \/>\nMiracote top coat<\/p>\n<p>I used Pueen stamping plate 26 for the accent nails. <\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned for my next look.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today my manicure is a retro chandelier look with lots of glitter.
