Wow! Today&#8217;s look is inspired by fashion and I love Dolce &amp; Gabbana! I had a look at their web site and stumbled upon this:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dolcegabbana.com\/dg\/fashion-show\/woman\/runway\/\">Dolce &amp; Gabbana Winter 2014<\/a><br \/>\nand this:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dolcegabbana.com\/dg\/fashion-show\/woman\/runway\/\">Dolce &amp; Gabbana Winter 2014<\/a><br \/>\nI love ornate embroidery and the look of old paintings so these two dresses totally fit the bill. I decided to try using some of my craft water transfers on my nails to see if they would work like the Nailene nail tattoos I&#8217;ve used in the past. Well they didn&#8217;t, they were thicker and tore\/cracked easily but once you put a top coat over the transfer it stuck to the nail with no problems. Air bubbles however became holes once the top coat dried.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/alteredizzy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/20130527-163108.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" alt=\"20130527-163108.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/alteredizzy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/20130527-163108.jpg\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI love the way this turned out and I definitely will be using the water transfers again. The water transfers I used for this manicure are by Lisa Pavelka, I purchased them at Micheal&#8217;s art stores in the polymer clay area or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lisapavelka.com\/Waterslide-Transfers.asp\">online<\/a>.<br \/>\nNext up in the 30 Day Nail Challenge is inspired by a pattern, I just received three sets of nail plates I&#8217;m just itching to use!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/alteredizzy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/20130527-164612.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" alt=\"20130527-164612.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/alteredizzy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/20130527-164612.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For this look I used:<br \/>\nSeche Vite Base Coat<br \/>\nSally Hansen Xtreme Wear golden-I, black out, mint sorbet, celeb city<br \/>\nMaybelline Color Show boho gold, porcelain party, tenacious teal<br \/>\nRevlon foxy, vixen, fashionista, copper penny, gold coin<br \/>\nRimmel black satin<br \/>\nNicole by OPI disco doll<br \/>\nNYC matte me crazy top coat<br \/>\nMiracote top coat<\/p>\n<p>Nail plates used for this look:<br \/>\nGals GA23<br \/>\nPueen 02, 04, 05<br \/>\nBundle Monster BM08<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 30 Day Nail Challenge is starting to wind down, today is the 25th day of the challenge!
